Sherwood Park residents have a few pleasant autumn days ahead before colder weather arrives, according to the forecast reported by Heartland News on October 19.

Tuesday through Thursday are expected to bring sunshine, with daytime highs of 12°C, 13°C and 11°C respectively.

The change begins Friday, October 23, with rain and a high of 5°C.

Showers could mix with flurries overnight as temperatures fall below freezing.

Saturday brings a chance of flurries and a high of just 1°C, followed by an overnight low of −6°C.

Sunday is expected to remain cool.

For anyone planning yard work or an outdoor outing, the midweek sunshine offers a useful window.

Forecasts can change, so check the latest local conditions before heading out.
