A no-cost seven-week program at Broadmoor Public Golf Course gave local youth an introduction to golf this summer.

First Tee Alberta highlighted the initiative in an October 2 report, identifying Harmeet Khalon as the coach.

Support came through RBC Community Junior Golf, helping participants try the sport without a program fee.

Alongside golf skills, First Tee focuses on confidence and values that young people can use beyond the course.

Broadmoor is among the Alberta locations supported through the initiative.

The announcement describes a completed summer program, rather than a new registration opportunity.

Families interested in future participation can check First Tee Alberta’s program information for current locations and availability.
