Strathcona County RCMP are asking for help identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a Sherwood Park parking-lot hit-and-run.

The collision happened at approximately 1:40 p.m. on September 4, 2026, at 390 Baseline Road.

A white Toyota GR86 was parked on the east side of the lot when an unknown vehicle struck it, causing significant damage.

The other vehicle left without stopping, according to an October 2 RCMP release posted by Strathcona County Crime Watch.

The release does not provide a description of the departing vehicle or identify its driver.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about the vehicle is asked to contact Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741.

Almost a month before the release went out though. Kind of a long wait.

That GR86 is not a cheap car either. Significant damage on one of those is going to hurt.

Hope they find whoever did this. Parking lot cameras are everywhere now so someone probably caught it on video.
