Trivia Question❓

Do You Know Why:

Some early lipstick tubes were designed to look like cigarette cases.

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

We can take your old beat up, worn out and dull tools of all kinds and restore them to like new condition. See examples here:

Major Snow Storm Warning for Wednesday! Be careful Out There!

Applying lipstick was once a laborious process, involving pots, paper-wrapped sticks, and brushes, which kept makeup routines strictly at home.

The invention of Maurice Levy’s twist-up metal tube in 1915 brought portability and ease, marking a turning point for women’s self-expression.

By the 1920s, as women pursued greater independence, the convenient lipstick tube became both a fashion statement and a symbol of modern womanhood.

During World War II, lipstick was more than cosmetic—its presence helped maintain morale and resilience among women, even during shortages.

Today, the lipstick tube continues to evolve through luxury designs, refillable and eco-friendly packaging, and smart technology like NFC chips for interactive experiences.

The simple lipstick tube stands as a lasting emblem of identity, innovation, and cultural change within the beauty industry.

When hormones are out of balance, even minor stresses can feel overwhelming.

Many midlife women notice this particularly in the late afternoon or early evening, when patience wears thin and energy levels dip.

Enter the Hormone Walk.

A brief 10–15 minute walk, especially outdoors, can help lower stress hormones like cortisol while boosting feel-good chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine.

The result?

A calmer mood, clearer thinking, and often a noticeable reduction in irritability.

Research indicates that light to moderate walking can reduce cortisol levels for up to 90 minutes, making it one of the fastest, most accessible mood resets available—no equipment required.

Many women report fewer hot flashes, better sleep, and improved digestion when they make the Hormone Walk a daily habit.

Just as importantly, it creates a pause between stress and reaction—something especially valuable during hormonally sensitive years.

Tip: You don’t need speed or distance.

Walk at a pace where your shoulders drop and your breathing deepens.

That’s when the benefits begin.

Science confirms what women already know: a short walk can calm hormones faster than sitting and stewing.

Sometimes the most powerful health tools aren’t complicated—they’re already waiting right outside your door.
