Sherwood Park's own Abby Guezen has ascended to the pinnacle of university athletics, earning the prestigious title of U SPORTS Female Athlete of the Year. This honor follows a stellar season with the University of Alberta Pandas volleyball team, where Guezen's leadership and skill were instrumental in securing both the Canada West championship and the national title.
Guezen's journey began in Sherwood Park, where she honed her talents at Sherwood Heights Junior High and Salisbury Composite High School.
