An Evening of Music: Join the Live Music Circle at WESeniors Strathcona |
Experience the joy of community music-making every Tuesday night in Sherwood Park |
Every Tuesday evening, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the WESeniors Strathcona center transforms into a vibrant hub for music enthusiasts. The Live Music Circle invites musicians of all skill levels to come together and share their passion for music in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Located at #140, 501 Festival Way in Sherwood Park, this weekly gathering is open to anyone with a love for music. Whether you play the ukulele, guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, keyboard, accordion, or any other stringed instrument, you're encouraged to bring it along and join the fun.
The Live Music Circle offers a fantastic opportunity to learn new songs, jam with fellow musicians, and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you prefer to play along, sing along, or simply listen and enjoy the atmosphere, there's a place for you in this community.
No prior registration is required—just drop in, tune up, and immerse yourself in the joy of making music together. A nominal drop-in fee of $2.00 includes coffee and a muffin, making it an affordable and enjoyable evening out.
Please note that this is a drop-in program and does not provide instruments or formal instruction. For more information, feel free to contact WESeniors Strathcona at 780-400-2111 or via email at questions@weseniors.ca.
On December 18, 2025, the Strathcona County Library invites residents to participate in Unsilent Night, a unique electronic sound walk through Broadmoor Park. These events provide wonderful opportunities to engage with the local music scene and celebrate the season.
Whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out, the Live Music Circle at WESeniors Strathcona is a welcoming space to share your love of music and connect with the community. Join us this Tuesday and become part of Sherwood Park's vibrant musical tapestry. |
