Fort Edmonton Park Reopens for Summer 2026 with 10% Discount |
Historic attraction welcomes visitors May 16 with reduced admission prices |
Fort Edmonton Park is reopening its gates for the summer season on May 16, 2026, inviting visitors to step back in time and experience Edmonton's rich history firsthand.
The park, which offers a living, breathing adventure through time, will operate Wednesday through Sunday and holiday Mondays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM through September 20, 2026.
This season, visitors will enjoy a 10% discount on daily admission tickets. Adult tickets are now $27.90 (down from $31.00), while child/youth and senior tickets are $22.25 (down from $24.75). Family passes for two adults and up to four children are available for $99.00, reduced from $112.00.
Admission includes unlimited access to midway rides and games, train rides, and streetcar transportation throughout the park. Visitors can explore historic buildings, participate in activities with costumed interpreters, and experience the award-winning Indigenous Peoples Experience.
In the spirit of reconciliation, free admission is extended to Indigenous Peoples for the summer general admission season, honouring their critical role in stewardship, storytelling, and shaping Amiskwaciwâskahikan/Edmonton.
Additional experiences including pony rides and wagon rides are available for $8.00 each. Visitors can also enjoy weekend brunch promotions, summer hotel stays at the historic Hotel Selkirk, and movie nights at the Capitol Theatre.
The park is accessible via On-Demand Transit shuttle from South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park Transit Centre. Parking is available in the main lot.
