Gord Steinke and the Big Stein Band to Rock Festival Place on October 30

Former news anchor Gord Steinke brings his award-winning rock trio to Sherwood Park

Gord Steinke, the former Global Edmonton/ITV news anchor, is set to electrify Festival Place in Sherwood Park with his band, The Big Stein Band, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7:30 PM.

 

With three rock albums and four Alberta recording industry awards, including Best Rock Album, under his belt, Steinke has seamlessly transitioned from broadcasting to music.

 

Alongside bandmates Randy Rink and Mark Scholz, The Big Stein Band has been captivating festival audiences for the past seven years.

 

The trio is eager to bring their dynamic performance to the main stage at Festival Place.

 

Adding to the evening's excitement, Travis Dolter will open the show.
