Join us in Sherwood Park for a day of traditional homesteading workshops

Wild Roots Retreats invites you to immerse yourself in the art of homesteading at our upcoming event, Homestead Back to Basics, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

 

From 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM MDT, our cozy rustic cabin will host a series of hands-on workshops designed to reconnect you with traditional skills.

Spin Your Own Wool

 

Make Traditional Sauerkraut

 

Craft Natural Soap

 

Create Herbal Oil Infusions & Salves

 

Brew Apple Scrap Vinegar

 

Make a Mullein Torch

 

Each workshop is tailored to provide a comprehensive, hands-on experience, ensuring you leave with both knowledge and a tangible product.

 

All supplies are provided—just bring your hands and your heart!

Sheep Care, Hides, and Dryer Balls: $50.00
