RCMP Seek Suspect After Indecent Acts at Sherwood Park Pet Store

Police believe same man involved in two separate incidents at Pet Valu.

Strathcona County RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following two alleged indecent acts at a Sherwood Park pet store.

Police say the most recent incident occurred on Friday evening around 7:50 p.m. at the Pet Valu located at Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard.

Investigators allege a man exposed his genitalia to a female employee on two separate occasions during the same visit.

Upon further investigation, RCMP believe the same suspect was involved in a previous incident at the same store more than two months earlier. On February 5, the man was allegedly observed with an erection and touching his genitalia while being assisted by a female employee.

The suspect is described as approximately 32 years old, six feet tall, with an average build, and light brown or dark blonde hair and beard. In both incidents, he was wearing black loose jogger or pyjama pants.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or these incidents to contact Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

The RCMP continue to investigate and are working to ensure the safety of local businesses and their employees.
