Strathcona Wrestling Club Puts Athlete Development First

Strathcona Wrestling Club Focuses on Development at Alberta Open

The Strathcona Wrestling Club recently competed at the 2026 Alberta Open, held March 28th at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park.

Development Over Medals

Head coach Evelyn Li emphasizes that for the club's young wrestlers, long-term growth and resilience matter more than medal counts. The focus is on building skills, character, and a love for the sport.

Community Support

The club's approach relies heavily on community support, creating an environment where young athletes can develop at their own pace while learning valuable life lessons through wrestling.

About the Club

Strathcona Wrestling Club serves young athletes in the Sherwood Park area, providing training and competition opportunities for wrestlers of all skill levels.
