Whiskers and Wheels Animal Adoption Event Coming to Sherwood Park

Sherwood Ford partners with Second Chance Animal Rescue Society for family-friendly adoption event

Sherwood Ford is teaming up with Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) to host their annual Whiskers and Wheels event on Saturday, May 9th. Community members from Sherwood Park and Edmonton are invited to attend this family-friendly adoption event from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The event takes place at Sherwood Powersports & Marine, located at 371 Lakeland Drive in Sherwood Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet adoptable animals looking for their forever homes, with all adoptions processed directly through SCARS.

Whiskers and Wheels offers more than just pet adoptions. The event features a variety of family-friendly activities including games for children, a delicious BBQ, and special guest appearances. It is a perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a day out while supporting a worthy cause.

SCARS is a non-profit organization based in Edmonton and Athabasca that relies on community support to care for unwanted and homeless pets. The organization takes in animals from remote area dog pounds and veterinary clinics, providing them with shelter, veterinary care, and the chance to find loving homes.

Sherwood Ford has a long-standing commitment to supporting local non-profit organizations throughout the year. The Whiskers and Wheels Roadshow is one of several annual events the dealership hosts to give back to the community and help animals in need.

Whether you are looking to adopt a new furry family member or simply want to enjoy a fun day out, everyone is welcome to attend this exciting community event.
